Prepare before the encounter
Keep enough capture items and a team that can weaken a target without accidentally defeating it. Rare encounters punish unprepared inventory management.
Separate rarity signals
Shiny appearance, Global Rarity and Code Traits are different signals. A valuable Lumen may combine several of them, but one does not automatically guarantee the others.
Do not rush the final action
Stabilize the encounter, reduce risk and use your best capture resources only when the target justifies them.
Track every serious find
Save screenshots and record traits, rarity and capture location. Good records help you compare future finds and marketplace listings.
